VEICHLES, FOOD AND CAMP ON SAFARI

Safariveichles

All our safari vehicles are custom designed to ensure the best wildlife viewing and comfort. This is crucial when spending up to 10-hours a day game viewing from the vehicle. For the best game viewing; Unlimited Tours and Safaris uses TDI Land Rover and Land Cruiser vehicles, the unlimited safari vehicle with open-sides and great height to view further into the bush and broaden the safari experience. The vehicles are customized with a canvas roof (detachable if you want it open), cooler box, snorkel, inverter and lots of storage for cameras, binoculars and all your other stuff.

We also operate with a Toyota Prado 4x4 for transfers to make sure that comfortability and the  quality of the services we offer to our clients  are always at the best.

Food on safari

On our full-service safaris, we bring along a private chef to cook wonderful food for you over an open fire. We serve wholesome and delicious meals under the African skies! Mornings start off with coffee, biscuits, yoghurt, and cereal before we head out on your morning drive.

On the drive, we stop for a coffee break out in the bush, and it’s time for brunch when we return — often a nice salad complete with eggs, meat, and vegetables. After a brief siesta, we offer coffee and tea with biscuits and fruit before heading back out on safari. Coming back to camp, as the day fades away, you will have time to shower up before dinner is served. An example of a typical dinner is chicken with gourmet sauce, fried rice, and steamed vegetables followed by chocolate cake or cherry pudding.

Our safari-camp

For our full-service safari, we use Meru style 3,5 x 3m (11.5 x 9.8ft) tents with an en-suite toilet and shower in the back! Inside the tents, we provide foldable camping beds with proper mattresses and bedding, plus a small table with a lantern. Out in front of the tent, you have a basin for washing your hands that is filled with clean water every morning, lunch, and evening. Out behind the tent, you will find your en-suite long-drop toilet plus a shower that is filled up with hot water whenever you like.

Inside the tent, you can see that the camping bed is covered so that you have a real mattress and bedding. The tents have flaps on all sides and up top, so you can open them at your leisure for some extra light and a breeze. It’s fantastic to lie in bed at night and look at the stars!

Meals are served under the gazebo situated in the middle of camp. Here you can always find coffee and tea as well!

The meals will be prepared on open fire close to camp by our chef!

Please not that if you are going on a Mokoro excursion into the Delta due to weight restrictions on the canoes we can not carry our full-service equipment with us, so you will use 3x3 meter Dome tents with mattress on the ground. You will have a separate shower and toilet enclosure close to your tent.
