This breathtaking experience will take you from the waterways in the Okavango Delta into the North of Botswana to the second largest game reserve in the world, the Central Kalahari Game Reserve.
Our Kalahari Special starts in Maun with activities in Okavango Delta including mokoro canoing and gorgeous walks before continuing south towards either the Nxai Salt Pan or Makgadikgadi Salt Pans (depending on where the zebra migrations are at the moment and which park you would rather visit).
In Nxai Pan, you experience diverse wildlife in its natural habitat. In Makgadikgadi Pan, you can enjoy seeing all of the wildlife coming to Thamalakane River and day-trip to the salt pans for beautiful, empty, and endless white horizons as far as the eye can see.
The area’s other-worldly landscape radiates a true sense of tranquility.
Our main and final stop is the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, where you will have the opportunity to see a great variety of wildlife, including desert- adapted species such as oryx or springboks along with predators including lions, cheetahs, and leopards.
