A safari especially for the green season, when Botswana is in full bloom and animals give birth
to their young ones. A period of plenty that makes for truly outstanding safaris. This Maun to
Chobe safari starts with Mokoro in the Okavango Delta before moving onto the Kazinkini
Community Reserve — an excellent place to watch animals around the river, complete with
walking safaris, night drives, and off-roading. Then it’s onto one of Botswana's best kept
secrets, Kwhai, a community trust area that abounds with some of the country’s most abundant
sightings of lions, African wild dogs, leopards, and hyenas. Next on the agenda is Savuti, where
the flowing Savuti Channel attracts herds of elephants, lions, zebras, hyenas, and cheetahs. The
whole region is known for its annual migration of zebras and, of course, the predators that
follow them. Next, it’s onto this safari’s last stop, Chobe National Park — Botswana’s third
largest national park, famous for its riverfront vistas and huge elephant herds.
